Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

How God completely freed me of ALL addiction overnight.

Recommended Posts

Alcohol, Weed, Hard Drugs, Pornography, Cigarettes and even nail-biting... I no longer need any of those things. God gave me his peace and boy did it satisfy!

My height is 6' 2. My weight was 125 pounds. This is a picture of me at 141 pounds after 3 weeks: http://i.imgur.com/TbVQBCs.jpg A picture of me before I was freed. Do you see a difference? http://i.imgur.com/E43Cml6.jpg A written summary of the story with some parts I left out to keep it short enough for youtube: http://pastebin.com/bMYxJHyv

I think you're the first to post a video testimony on this forum, I hope to see more like yours on the board.

This is amazing. I love to see real-life results from using your faith to your advantage. God is great and will do amazing things for those who put their trust in him. It's amazing to me that you saw results that quickly. Addiction is something that is very difficult to let go of. I have watched several people in my life suffer with addiction and many have yet to give up their addictions. I wonder if they have faith in Jesus Christ and have made an effort to ask for help. I don't see many of them seeking guidance from God. Majority of the people I know with addiction issues are seeking help elsewhere or not seeking help at all. My heart goes out to you, with a huge congratulations! I wish you the best on your journey. :)

Thanks so much for your encouragement and kind words. I've seen so much addiction around me, and I just know that the best they can do themselves is trade one addiction for another (less visible) addiction. But only God can free you. Trust me.

Glory be to God for his deliverance upon your life. The Bible says a desire fullfilled is a source of life, you desired to serve God and stay away from sin and God fullfilled it, your testimony is now an encouragement to many people.
