Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Lauren Daigle Talks on If She Would Consider Herself a Christian Artist

When interviewed Ms. Daigle recently by a TV host that is Lesbian Ms. Daigle made some remarks about her faith and the Bible that gave me reason to doubt she truly was a born agin Follower of Jesus Christ.

I have listened to a good number of so called Christian singers and I wonder if they are using the name of Christ just to sell their music. One song called for the Holy Spirit to bring down fire, not make believe fire, but the real genuine fire. Hill Song is the one of worst of all groups for having questionable lyrics that contradict Scripture. I like drums but often that is the main thing you hear.  I very rarely hear a hymn, unless its Christmas on the radio especially on XM the Message.

I would caution going this far.  I know what she said, and it definitely got my attention to Ms. Daigle.  Our family refuses to listen to her. But I don't think we can doubt, yet, her salvation because of the LGBT confusion. She could genuinely be confused on what Scripture does or does not say about the matter. I find that a lot of people who are thrust into Christian music do not have well-grounded theology and it comes out in their music often.  That doesn't mean they are not saved though.  We should be careful about passing that judgment.

I too do not listen to her music, change to a different Christian station.
