John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Better and Safer than any Windows

Ubuntu 18.04 is much more stable than Windoze and is exceedingly less likely to be smitten by a virus/worm/trojan.  I have run both stable and testing versions since '07 and have had no virus protection running in all that time.  The system is no more difficult to learn than each new version of windoze and it is the number one Linux Operating System when measuring growth.

This system is being used by International Banking Systems and Governments around the world because of it's ease of use.  You should try it out.

Maybe someone else knows about this.  I just updated my win 10 Lenovo Edge 2 with microsoft today.  The notice had been up for about 2 days so I let it go forward.  Took about 45 minutes and when it came back on line I could not get signed on with my PIN but had to use my microsoft account #.  I get not wifi or desktop icons on screen.....it is essentially useless.  I am going to try MS in the AM and see if anyone else has had this problem but was hoping someone here might know something.  Probably going to have to get a boot disc from lenovo to fix it.  Anyone know anything similar happening? Thx

    • Wifi On Windows 10

I recently upgraded to Windows 7. I love everything about it so far. However, since last week, I could not connect to the Wifi. The wifi tab cannot go on either. I have looked on the internet for solutions but all have not worked. I am considering switching back to Windows 7 since I entirely depend on Wifi. Anyone with a similar case or a solution?

    • Staying on Windows 7

I've decided to stay on Windows 7. Apart from the possibility of the PC running faster under Windows 10 (some reports say it will) I can't see any advantages for me with the programs I run. Windows 7 does all I want and the old programs I have work on it.   One problem with auto upgrades (such as WIndows 10 will use and as happens with Firefox and Thunderbird) is that every now and then the supplier makes some significant change that just seems to mess things up and/or takes away some useful facility.   Any other "luddites" like me staying on Windows 7?
