  1. How do you know you used your free will wisely and were saved by using it? How do you know you freely chose the right thing? We can play this game all day. I know I am an elect because if He had not chosen me, under no circumstance would I have chosen Him. When I sin, it grieves me that I have sinned against a thrice holy God, and repent of said sins. That’s how I know I am an elect of God.
  2. Contextually, He died for the elect. John 10:11, John 10:15, & Ephesians 5:25 show this to be true.
  3. @Becky are you amillennial or Historic Premill?
  4. If I am Systematic, catholic, 5 Solae, Calvinism, Covenant, Historic Premillenialism, Cessastionism, , can I still have a seat at the Reformed table? Pweeze?
  5. Well, seeing I am Historic Premill, I am post-trib.
  6. Dispensationalism is untenable imo. It fractures the body of Christ into Jews and the church. It resurrects the wall that the Christ tore down. It teaches no regeneration prior to the cross. It teaches escapism, in that believers are caught up/raptured out prior to the seven years of trib/great trib. I can’t these anywhere in the Bible.
  7. Not to criticize another site, but there is quite a bit of heresy spread there.
  8. I have been a member here for a while, but I had honestly forgotten about it. I enjoy it here. I got banned from CC for maligning the site and recruiting members. I wasn’t maligning that board, but did recruit their members.
  9. If you study the context here, it’s not really about drinking booze. Jesus is telling those self-righteous religious leaders no one can meet their self-righteous demands. John was not a glutton or a sot, so they accused him of being demon possessed. The Christ came eating and drinking...obviously not getting drunk or committing gluttony, and they called Him a glutton and a drunkard. And He also sat with ***gasp*** sinners!
  10. No to your first question, or at least that’s my opinion. Plus, that was prior to the Levitical priesthood. I would guess unleavened.
  11. And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit:[Ephesians 5:18] Here it says don’t get drunk with wine. It doesn’t to not drink wine, but not to get get drunk with it. Why? It leads to reckless living.
  12. The exact # John saw coming out of great tribulation...a # that no man can #. That’s how many are going. 😎
  13. It was well articulated. However, that can be said about smoking, too. I work as a lab tech in a hospital and see ppl literally smoking themselves to death. Yet, nary a word about that. But drink one beer? You’ll get, “You heathen, you’re going to hell for doing that!”
  14. I thought so...just making sure. Don’t run with that, someone will wrest the baton from you and actually teach it.
