John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

    ChristForums vs. Christian Forums

Thanx Stratcat, but both sites have been cast into hell : http://risen-from-the-dead.forumotion.com/f147-www-christforums-org http://risen-from-the-dead.forumotion.com/f13-christian-forums Looks like this site wins again.
  2. As prophetic as it originally is, it is current. And given it was foretold more than 2,500 years ago, it is very current.

I disagree with a doctrine in my church. What do I do?

I addressed that to you as personally as possible in post #54 at : https://www.christforums.org/forum/b...-rapture/page4 The damage of secret societies have never been more evident than they are today : two elections out of step with the St. Malachy prophecy. Use of private messaging to add to such demise is not beneficial, nor necessarily is banning. Lactantius wrote "Therefore, with regard to this precept of God, there ought to be no exception at all; but that it is always unlawful to put to death a man, whom God willed to be a sacred animal." To sever the intellect is a grave matter. From Pascendi Dominici Gregis - On the Doctrine of the Modernists - 8 September 1907 "Let us turn for a moment, Venerable Brethren, to that most disastrous doctrine of agnosticism. By it every avenue to God on the side of the intellect is barred to man, while a better way is supposed to be opened from the side of a certain sense of the soul and action." There are those things which Roman demonization places upon the Roman Catholic Church as a whole, and as such are detrimental to the community. Every tittle of Tradition and Doctrine in the Holy Roman Catholic Church is based upon the Holy Bible.

    The Rapture

Of your list, only the Douay-Rheims can be included as accurate. The other is the Wycliffe, which you have omitted. Your selection bolsters the continued error since the Coverdale 1535 publishing concerning Daniel 11:20 & 21, save for the Douay-Rheims which did not violate the English tongue.

    The Rapture

As the commandment is "Thou shalt not kill." and Jesus Christ is without sin, to speak now of God killing is not accurate, especially since those that the Lord did drown in the depths of the sea became dust in the earth (Daniel 12:2) and God raises them, too. (also Daniel 12:2) I couldn't address your private message to me through private messaging as the forum engine informed me that you had opted not to receive private messages. I put my reply in the same topic you used as the title of your private message to me in abidance with Christ's words that everything done in secret shall be made known : https://www.christforums.org/forum/christian-community/general-faith/non-denominational/6742-i-disagree-with-a-doctrine-in-my-church-what-do-i-do

I disagree with a doctrine in my church. What do I do?

Stratcat had written to me regarding this topic : "Hello. Good to hear from you. You are on a site that agrees with you but I don't agree with them. You will see many of my threads already arguing the point, but I wanted to get this out to you privately without being distracted by the others. Your church is right. The pretribulation rapture (catching up into the air) is a different event from the second coming of Christ at the end of the tribulation where Jesus actually comes to the earth. Reread those verses in the Bible again and see if you see what I mean. In one case, we go to Christ in the air (rapture). In the other, He comes to earth with us already with him (second coming). How could that be unless we were already raptured beforehand. Also, the character of God is to remove His righteous from the place where He will show His judgement and wrath. Examples are Israel moved to Goshen, the blood for Passover, Lot and his wife, Noah and his family, and more. Now the worst ever, the tribulation, and people think God will put His righteous through it? Not at all. I agree with William to talk to your pastor about it, but be ready to hear him and not with an attitude of already having made up your mind. I am a lone wolf crying in the wilderness on this issue to most folks on this site, so they will steer you into believing more solidly what you believe, but don't let theologians tell you what to think. Let the Holy Ghost be your teacher through the Bible, as He commands. God Bless." To which/whom the following is addressed : This much I know for certain : the Day of the Lord as foretold in Malachi 4:5 is Ascension Sunday, May 8, 2016 A.D. Regular updates in the count up and count down to the Day of the Lord at : http://risen-from-the-dead.forumotion.com/ How Lord Jesus brings this to be is amazing as He grants us new life even through tribulation. Read Ezekiel 21:12-14, specifically verse 14, which shows how one can be born and born again yet suffer death for a time, but at the resurrection the Lord Jesus is victorious through death, by His Death He has conquered Death. As the Day of the Lord approaches, the days of the fallen heavens and earth are replaced by the new heavens and earth where righteousness dwells according to 2 Peter 3:10-13. No one resurrected who has already been caught up in the air and is cognizant of it according to 1 Thessalonians 4:17 will agree with the pretribulation rapture except in the context of being predestined in Christ, but remember that being nailed to that Tree is real tribulation, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ Who lives and reigns in the glory of God the Father, and in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

Greetings in the Resurrected Christ Jesus . . .

I see why I wrote as I did : http://risen-from-the-dead.forumotio...e-devil-s-dash "Baa" had some sword of the devil's tongue to add.

The General Resurrection of the Dead (Rapture) is no longer an invisible or absent feature in the world, and it doesn't necessarily conform to any preconceived notion of what it is.

In deference to Our Lady :

I once was given a vision (private revelation) of Satan's mockery of the Blessed Trinity. To condemn the vision (private revelation) is not a warning, only a violation against Dei Verbum. What I glean from that vision is that Satan has a limited perception of God due to having less grace than he once had.

Purgatory is quite the opposite of agnosticism.

You avoided the question. There is no opinion in the Magisterium, nor in the gift of prophecy; neither is there error in either.

In deference to Our Lady :

To show you how hasty judgment can be wrong and disproved : This is the link, but we only need focus on what I've underlined : http://www.ccg.org/english/s/p288.html The Reign of the Five Popes This first reign after the seat was held seventeen years by Pius XI, i.e. the reign of Pius XII, was also prophesied by Nostradamus but ignored. In the same century some thirty-six quatrains earlier at C.5:Q.56 he wrote: Par le décès du très vieillard pontife, Sera esleu Romain do bon aage: Qu’il sera dict que le Siège debiffe Et long tiendra et de picuant ouvrage. De Fontbrune interprets this as meaning: After the very aged Pope’s death, a middle aged pope will be elected. He will be accused of harming the Holy See and will last a long time, doing controversial work. Pacelli was sixty-three when he was elected in 1939 and did last longer than Pius XI, and indeed, a very long time. *** When this interpretation was given, little did the author(s) know that John Paul II would exceed with visible proof the description "very aged". Yet an entire philosophy was developed in error. I've cited this writing several times in recent years, and there always seems to be something new cropping up, (or up with which to be cropping). I remember word being brought to me in the 1960's A.D. that I was elected (as Pontiff) along with Paul VI (Flors Florum). That "elected at the same time" was way out of order, especially with regard to the St. Malachy prophecy, and it continues to this day. If one looks at the first election of Matthias, and how it has been supplanted by direct appointment of candidates, I usually conclude such straying as a sign of the "mystery of iniquity". (2 Thess. 2:7) Paul VI wrote the Constitution on Divine Revelation which places Ida's revelation to be private. But to attack it, based solely on the opinion of another, is far outside the graceful guideline of the non-necessity to believe it. So who is really making a statement here when private revelation is attacked?

In deference to Our Lady :

He calls what you call facts, his opinion. His opinion is his judgment, as is yours of his judgment.
