  1. Dear Lord, Please help my dear Brother with good thoughts that bring You no offence. Please Bless him real good today and everybody he loves. In Jesus' mighty Name, Amen. Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
  2. Thank you, I am praying for you too Tony.
  3. A couple of years ago, I contracted a lethal infection, lethal. I was dying. My Wife was with me in quarantine in Hospital. I knew in my heart that I was certainly going to die. I remember vividly getting so tired fighting and struggling against the pathogen and that I began to just relax, I took a deep breath in and began to know and accept that I was going Home. I just stopped resisting. My last greatest earthly urge and request was to get someone to take my clothes away as I knew that where I was going, I was to be given new and beautiful clothes and that I was going to be very happy in a place of painfully beautiful prairies and the greenest grass and the cleanest purest water and that my animals of my childhood, then long dead, were just there, waiting with Jesus for me. I can't remember ever being more aware of my God at any time in my 30 years since being Saved than in those few moments. I knew Jesus had paid for EVERYTHING, that my debt was cancelled and my place with Him was assured, only because of what He had done. My Wife then pleaded with the Lord to preserve me and He amazingly answered her and I am still, to my amazement, here. Many may scoff and criticize but as my friend, now in Glory said, " the man with the experience has nothing to fear from the man with the argument".
  4. Hebrews 12:3-6 3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
  5. Thank you. All good and kindly advice. We have no veterans in Ireland since Ireland only has a peacekeeping role rather than a combatant role. Sadly, Churches in Ireland are largely cursed with Nepotism - favour is often meted out on the basis of Money, Position, Family, Employment etc., they all feature so very highly in terms of getting your Church to help you advance for God. That is the truth. It is painful to behold. Many Churches have simply closed their doors and died rather than to hand any part over to God's next generational choice. I will be honest and say that as a man from a poor family who never had any social position and having never had an important job then I have absoloutely no chance of ever getting any help to progress. Free will is a concept and gift that is very often shamelessly abused by Christians far more than the unsaved and unchurched. REV 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
  6. Thanks. I live in the wilds of Ireland. Not too many Protestant evengelical Churches here that preach Salvation. I like RTS myself.
  7. Praying for you both. Psalm 37 : Vs 23-25 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
  8. Hello. Please, does anyone out there know if any such Seminarys exist that offer low cost certificates/Diplomas or Degrees by Distance Learning? I mean bona fide Seminarys that can be depended upon and are truly accountable to the Lord Jesus Christ and could be honestly recommended. I wish to study to be a an Ordained Chaplain but so far, I have applied to 6 and they haven't even bothered to reply. I have heard that many are just seeking to obtain peoples personal information and the suchlike, and then nothing ever comes of any application. Or they ley you apply and then ask for an extortionate 'love offering' - it is terrible. I would appreciate any help and guidance, I truly would. I have 30 years experience in Evangelism, Bible Teaching, Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Preaching, Counselling, Missions and Church Maintenance,Cooking and Cleaning. Just no Bachelors level education. If you can help or advise, I would be so very thankful. Thank you.
  9. Hello. Please could you pray that the Lord Jesus will help me to get a place in Seminary. I have applied for 6 now, sadly, they don't ever even bother to reply to me. It is heart breaking - I just want to be trained and educated so that I can work with Prisoners as a Chaplain and Abuse Survivors - especially in a foreign Missions setting. I am relying on either free Seminarys or Scholarships as I am just not rich. Please do pray, thank you and God Bless you.
