  1. . Revelation21:9-14 = The New Jerusalem 9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Romans11:13-18 = 13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. Remember that God first chose the Jews as His people and Lord/God Jesus Christ and His 12 apostles were Jews who had lived among their Jewish family and the Jews, and were not Gentiles and had not lived among Gentiles. ....... In the eternal kingdom of heaven, some Jewish Christians will hold "bigger" crowns or higher positions than Gentile Christians(like the difference between archangels, cherubims and ordinary angels), even though both Jews and Gentiles/Greeks alike have been saved from hell by faith in Jesus Christ.
  2. . Just like not every Christian is an apostle or prophet or miracle-worker, not every Christian is a martyr. It is up to God's will. ....... So, Christians should not seek or covet to be martyrs or non-martyrs or apostles or prophets. Let God's will be done. The prophetic Word of God/Jesus at Revelation20:1-6 says that those Christians living just before the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ to earth will suffer Great Tribulation, Persecution and Martyrdom, eg when Satan imposes his "mark of the beast" of Revelation13:11-18. This will be similar to the great persecution and martyrdom suffered by early Christians during the 1st Coming of Jesus Christ to earth at around 33AD, eg the martyrdom of Stephen at Acts7. Nearly all the 12 apostles of Christ were martyred, eg Peter and Paul.
  3. . . . No, only Jews bought and sold animal sacrifices in the Holy Temple of God in Jerusalem at Matthew21:12, whereas the "mark of the beast" for buying and selling at Revelation13:16-18 will be required from all or everyone, ie "16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." . . . I think "beheaded" of Revelation20:4 just means being physically martyred, ie powerful unbelieving entities/governments of the world will not like Christians having "the Father's name written on their foreheads"(= worshipping and obeying God/Jesus) and not "worshipping the beast and his image, and receiving his mark on his forehead or on his hand"(= not worshipping and obeying the nation/world/Satan/idols/etc). ....... Behead = symbolically cutting off the foreheads of those who spiritually bear the mark or name of God/Jesus Christ on their foreheads. ... Matthew 10:28 = And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
  4. No, the non-persecuted/non-martyred and raised-from-the-dead Jews of Matthew27:52-53 were not necessarily the same as the persecuted/martyred and resurrected Christians of Revelation20:4. These Jews did not die for their witness to Jesus Christ, whereas those Christians died for their witness to Jesus. The former happened before the Ascension of Jesus Christ back to heaven(= Acts1), whereas the latter happened or will happen after the Ascension of Jesus Christ in heavenly power and glory.(eg Acts9:5) ... Matthew10:16-23 = Persecutions Are Coming 16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. 18 You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. 21 “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. . No, the "Father's name written on their foreheads" of Revelation14:1 is quite likely different from the "mark/number of the beast on their right hand or foreheads" of Revelation13:16-18. ....... Having "the Father's name written on their foreheads" likely means Jews who worshipped God/Jesus and who did not worship Satan/idols/false-gods/self. ... Revelation14:7 = 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” Revelation20:4 = Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. . The 144,000 likely refers to the remnant of the Jews who will be saved by the 2 powerful witnesses/prophets(= the 2 who did not die on earth, Enoch and Elijah.?) appearing in Jerusalem for 42 months or 3-1/2 years before the 2nd Coming of Lord/God Jesus Christ to earth.( see Revelation11) ... Revelation7:4 = 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: 5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; ...
  5. . No, not really true. Those resurrected or raised from the dead at Matthew27:52-53 were not Christians who "who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands."(Revelation20:4) ....... Actually, those of Matthew27 were dead Jews similar to Lazarus who had been raised from the dead, ... John 11:38 & 44 = [ Lazarus Raised from the Dead ] Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. ... 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” Also, the prophetic event of "the mark of the beast" for buying and selling at Revelation13:11-18 and Revelation20:4 has yet to happen, ie Christians who refuse to accept the mark(= computer chip implants to replace credit/debit cards.?) will be prosecuted/persecuted/martyred by the powerful governments of the world or left alone to starve to death(cf; Amish Christians). . 1Thessalonians4:15-18 = 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
  6. pray = to speak to a god either privately or in a religious ceremony in order to express love, admiration, or thanks or in order to ask for something: ... pray Meaning in the Cambridge English Dictionary DICTIONARY.CAMBRIDGE.ORG pray definition: 1. to speak to a god either privately or in a religious ceremony in order to express love, admiration, or thanks or in... . No, MATTHEW.6:9 does not forbid praying or worshiping Jesus. For those on earth, isn't the Father's hallowed name "Lord/God Jesus Christ.? Christians may address or call God as God/Lord, the Father, Lord/God Jesus Christ, etc. ....... Jews address their God or Father as G_d or Yahweh. Muslims address their God as Allah(= God in Arabic). Atheists may address themselves as gods. Hindus and Buddhists have many gods/idols whom they may address as Krishna, Shiva, Kuan Yin, Mazu, Buddha, etc. Satanists address their God as Satan. Etc. ....... So, to admit people into His heaven for salvation, it is important for the true God to be able to identify/know His people by how they address or call Him = separating the wheat from the chaff/tares or the sheep from the goats. . MATTHEW.7:21-23 = I Never Knew You 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ JOHN.20:28-29 = 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” ACTS.9:5-6 = 5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” 6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
  7. Yes, either partially for Gentile Christians or as fully as possible for Jewish Christians, as per ACTS.15:24-29 & 21:20-25, ...but this is not for the sake of salvation since the works of following/keeping the OT Law does not save people from hell, ie only faith in Jesus Christ saves.(JOHN.3:14-18, GALATIANS.2:16-17) OTOH, not following OT laws will put the Christians' salvation at grave risk, eg by losing faith in Jesus Christ/God.(HEBREWS.10:26-31, 1COR.5:5 & 11:30 & 6:9-11, 1JOHN.5:16-17, JOB.2:9) ....... Eg if the Gentile Christians continue to commit sexual immorality, they will likely be cursed/struck by God with the horrible AIDS or STD diseases and while in terrible suffering for their sins/evil-deeds/law-breaking, they may lose faith, eg curse Jesus/God and die = lose salvation. ... ‘I Was Blind to the Path I Had Taken’: Man Who Aspired to Be Pastor Pleads Guilty to Murdering Wife, Points to Life of ‘Drinking, Drugs’ 'I Was Blind to the Path I Had Taken': Man Who Aspired to Be Pastor Pleads Guilty to Murdering Wife, Points to Life of 'Drinking, Drugs' | Christian News Network CHRISTIANNEWS.NET RALEIGH, N.C. -- A North Carolina man who had claimed that cold medicine had caused him to stab his wife to death while sleeping... God's ideal is Jewish Christians, ie Jews who keep the Law and follow or believe in Jesus Christ. eg the apostles and cf; the rich young ruler of MATTHEW.19:16-21 = likely gain a good, loving, peaceful, joyful and long life on earth, die and will be saved from hell = inherit the kingdom of heaven. ....... In the case of the less ideal Gentile Christians, for most of them, they should follow Jesus Christ and slowly learn to partially keep the Law, ie keep non-burdensome laws = will be saved from hell even though they may not gain a good and long life on earth due to their past sins/evil-deeds/law-breaking as former lawless Gentiles. 2TIMOTHY.3:14-15 = 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
  8. Yes, both Jews and Gentiles can be saved from hell by faith in Jesus Christ, but the likelihood of Gentile Christians losing faith is much higher compared to Jewish Christians because most of them did not know the Holy Scriptures from childhood, ie as former Gentile children. ... 2TIMOTHY.3:14-15 = 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
  9. Since all humans are inherently or born evil/sinful/satanic, no political system on earth will succeed, whether socialism or capitalism or democracy or theocracy. Jesus Christ is a salvationist and His kingdom is not of this world. ... JOHN.18: = 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
  10. HEBREWS.10:26-31 = 26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
  11. No, salvation can be lost, especially Gentile Christians who were formerly mostly lawless Gentiles before conversion. Why would Jesus Christ spoke the warning verses below if salvation cannot be lost, eg lost through sins/evil-deeds/law-breaking and receiving the mark-of-the-beast.? REVELATION.2: = The Compromising Church 12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: 13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’ The Corrupt Church 18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. 24 “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. 25 But hold fast what you have till I come. 26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— 27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star. 29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ . REV.3: = The Dead Church 1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ . REV.13 & 14 = 13:16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ... 14:9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
  12. In its proper context, JOHN.10:28-30 was referring to the apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ who were personally chosen by Christ/God, and was not referring to those who came into faith after them. The latter may lose their salvation by losing faith, eg MATTHEW.13(Parables of the Sower, Wheat and Tares), 1TIMOTHY.4:1. This is proven by ... JOHN.17: = Jesus Prays for His Disciples 6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. Jesus Prays for All Believers 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
