John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

I've read lots of criticisms by others about this officer. From being a sell-out to just doing his job.

Not many have entertained an idea that this officer believes in America's ideology, believing in something greater than himself or his own personal interests. I like to think this. And though I hate what those behind him stand for I think the officer as well as others understand the worst alternative to free speech.

Should we bring back anti-heresy laws? Who will be the judge on whether something is wholesome or truthful? If not the Church then the government? Should we be subject to political correctness under the penalty of law?

This officer is no Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom taken in context was a character from a classical work of literature that went against his slave masters. The very people behind him whose organizations were birthed through the Democratic party. When leftist take the character Uncle Tom out of context they mean simply someone that is subservient to the white-man. Uncle Tom believed in Freedom, and in this way the officer is going against the establishment politics of the left which ushered in slavery and Jim Crow laws, which now, want to take away our 1st amendment rights.

That officer, much respect, is not a hyphenated American. He is a true American. God bless him and may God protect him in his line of duty!
