John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Good before, evil after

Someone whose theology couldn't be taken seriously beforehand?

Thank you for the explanation

We are all fools unless we believe as you.

I heard somewhere, that the Christian army is the only army that shoots their wounded

I can think of other reasons, namely the knee jerk reaction you're provoking in each of your responses. And now you're putting your own words in my mouth.

Please share,  and if I put words in your mouth I would like  to see it

You stated the above, and then you state this:

And you repeat yourself here:

The meme I posted was not created by me so I offered an interpretation of a picture which conveys two different characters and expressions. A toy dinosaur in contrast to what appears as a genuine dinosaur. I stated, in the context of theology, "Someone whose theology couldn't be taken seriously beforehand?" That was a question and was based on a cute toy, a play thing which is in contrast to something so serious and genuine. If you want to put your face to the silly play thing in the meme then yea I can't take your theology seriously especially someone who has admitted to not even being learned, subjected, or exposed to the various theologies on this board in the past. But back to the meme without you putting your face to it because everything you read must be about you and yourself.

Note the question mark. I wasn't the original author so I offered my interpretation of a meme for consideration in which you've gone into a personal rant about. You seemingly struggle much with comprehension and that's my observation, but tonight it seems you want to make things personal.

If you don't like me then put me on ignore or if you don't like the website then leave Guppy.

You want to interpret me rather than the meme? Let me interpret your response as what you think about me as you made me guilty of your interpretation of the meme:

I'd hate to walk through a museum and critique art with you, Guppy.
