John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

I wonder what they're going to install in that celebration calendar block to replace the Christian music festival? A gay pride parade perhaps? How about a anti-Xenophobia parade and celebration, featuring all the illegals and "refugees" , that have entered Florida in the last year? :classic_wacko:

I used to get a newsletter that had a section about the persecution of Christians abroad. Things that never made the headlines or even reported.

He was right. The world will hate you.

Disney is perververted, when Disney world first opened it had a launderay shop, there's all sorts of adult jokes and dirty things they snuck into thier movies, and now they have openly gay charters in shows.

The only reason the held the Christian music festival was just to attract thier fan base, which today is the ungodly .

I used to work at a Six Flags park north of Chicago.  Every year we would have what is called "Joy Fest", which was one of the busiest days of the summer.  There were times we would actually max out the capacity of the park.

Hopefully, it is still going on.
