John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Some of the most prominent people in France may be finally realizing what conservatives have been saying for years: Diversity is not always a strength, and “tolerance” of people who are clearly incompatible with western society is not wise. They may have used different words, but that is essentially the message sent by hundreds of…

they tend to oppose the bible and promote what we would call sin

Diversity is seldom a strength.  (IMO)

Go to a work or school dining room and you will seldom find the individual tables are diverse.  People will similar characteristics gravitate towards one another; they don't want diversity.

If everyone was the same race, would there be racism?

If everyone was the same religion, would there be religious persecution?

Diversity, in general, leads to isolation (religious denominations for example).

Diversity of most ideas leads to strife.

Diversity leads to black lives matter, political caucus' whose membership is determine by skin color.

Diversity of income leads to progressive taxation (Occupy Wall Street)

Diversity leads to racial and gender quota's on the assumption that groups that are different should achieve the same outcome and if a group doesn't achieve a similar outcome, one of the groups is oppressed and a political solution is needed to correct a perceived injustice.  X not= Y; gov't conclusion, X and Y should have same outcome.

Diversity of language lead to inefficiencies.

Diversity is political propaganda maintained by governments whose people are diverse in order to promote the situation in which they find themselves.

Etc. etc.

End of diatribe    😉

It is one thing to have people of different backgrounds to come together for a specific cause, or reason.  It is something completely different when your society becomes unequally yolked because of different philosophies that are at odds with each other.

Were they diverse?  They were all of one belief.  All forgiven.  No, I don't see diversity in this illustration; I see commonality.

Granted, they were selected from a diverse group; selected to be changed to a non-diverse group.

(Going to have to define 'diverse' soon lest we digress)

I think this is a personal or touchy topic for some of us. I mean our forefathers fought and died on foreign soil, fighting against some of these ideologies only for their idiot grandchildren later in this generation to fully embrace it. From Socialism to Islam we've historically sacrificed so much in opposition to them.

A lot of these things are hitting close to home because the Liberal party seemingly follows a lot of what transpires in the EU.

God bless,

I hear that a lot, from this side of the pond it looks a little different - it looks like our liberals are following yours in many ways. California seems to be a world leader at the moment when it comes to left wing liberalism - but maybe that is just a perspective thing. Maybe your hearing the worst of what is happening over here, presented through a certain lens, and maybe it's same for me about what I hear happening over there.

PS - my grandparents battled on those same foreign soils as well.
