John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

A teacher, too bad all the negative influence affected me more. But he was one of the few teachers that actuall cared about teaching, I can't speak highly of most teachers, not the ones I had or any of them in general. This was special education, which pretty much means the students are there just to pass usually without a 6th grade education at graduation, they really don't care about the kids, but this guy did, we could ask him anything and he would explain it to us on our level. And he had a sense of morals he tried to pass on to the students.

It would seem to me that kids in special education need and should have the very best caring teachers. Lets hope that has improved over time.

I think kids would benefit from working while learning, finding thier strengths, and working on them, especially kids with learning disabilities.

I don't have a very high opinion of the school system, but I'm getting off topic.
