John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

On Saturday afternoon I began to feel less pain. On Monday I went to Same Day Surgery. I had an Xray and they told me I was still needing surgery. They had me get dressed with that pretty gown and they put in the IV. They said they were ready to take me in. When the Doctor came in and he said he had reread to Xray and could not see the kidney stones. He said there was no reason for the surgery now. In two months they would do a CAT Scan then and see me then.

PRAISE THE LORD! I did not have to have surgery. Your prayers helped and I deeply thank you.

I found out today I have more kidney stones in my kidneys. Our prayers that they will stay put for a good while. Nothing is more painful than kidney stones moving down. and out. If the stones move they will do surgery if and when it happens.

Merry Christmas to all, Bod bless you all.

Cranberry juice and prayer, my friend. I will be praying that this goes away as well.

Have you ever heard about sonic treatment?
