Community Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Romans 1:26-32 is exactly where we are today. These sin sick perverted people demanding they are entitled to be admitted and or employed in Christian Institutions that have Doctrinal Statements clearly stating the requirements for being admitted as students and or employment. No matter what job or organization a person seeks to be apart of, there are requirements. There are some people that seek to challenge anything that they feel discriminates in education, employment, and Christian organizations. IMO this is Satan attacking APU. Aszua Park University is a Missionary Alliance University and it does have a strict code of Christian ethics, these perverts should be expelled, and no teacher should have ever been employed that supports the LGBTQ. It seems to me there was not a very careful background check done in this case.

No true Christian university would ever give in to these wicked demands.

you can say that all you want but without Christian oriented participation in the making of laws in this country you can forget any regard for your beliefs and or your sensibilities of what is "normal" or acceptable. while everyone was standing around with their teeth in their mouth, they got experts to verify that things like homosexuality is something one is born with and not a choice. we know that's horse dump but they got the courts to accept their so called findings. so now there we are in the mist of hostilities toward the institutions that established this society of freedom and liberties.

sexual orientation is a choice not a race or religion or something of that nature that's covered under the constitution. that's where you start with, the courts interpretation thereof.

Emphasis is on the word true. Most of what professes to be Christian is not.Was there Christian oriented participation in the 1st century Roman empire? No politics was not something the early congregation gave thought to except obedience to the rulers and magistrates and offering up of prayers for them. Yet none would yield to the wicked demands of the Roman or Jewish leaders. The world can do politics education medicine etc.. What the world cannot do is proclaim the gospel. Only Christ's congregation can do that. Before men can be changed outwardly they must be changed inwardly. Like their Puritan forefathers too many modern Evangelicals are enamored with politics(fruit of the long history of mixing the congregation with the State? ) The congregation needs to be about their Father's business and proclaim Christ and Him crucified and then we will see lives changed. Political solutions are never ultimate solutions.

So - the employee was demoted supposedly because of his sexual orientation -- chances are there was more to it than that. Why would anyone know he was 'gay'? How was he acting on the job? The Christian educational institutions Need to enforce their standards. Not give in to the LGBT standards. Chances are he warranted firing and he used that as his way to try to get back at the University.
