John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Reformation ... then and now!

The attack on the historicity of Genesis is one of the greatest reasons many young people give up on possibly having faith in the Bible. Darwinism has dome significance harn to people going to clooege or University that most always indoctrinates students against belief in the Bible factual history of creation. Darwinism is truly one of Satan's tools that destroys many potential believers in the truth of the Bible.

This is one example of the inportance of a good solid Bible teaching Sunday Schol for adults and children alike. If your Sunday School material does not use the Book by Book method of teaching you might want to suggest a change to one that does.
