John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Soveriegn God, Sovereign earth

I know that earth isn't the only planet, but one day while I was cleaning. I was thinking about the earth and I just thought it is so awesome how God pays so much attention to us. Of all the planets earth is the only one of it's kind. I mean the only one with life and operates in such a way to sustain life. I'm not closing the door to possibility of another planet somewhere in the universe like ours. But, so far none has been found. To think that in the immensity of all that surrounds us, water, plants, molecules, atoms, oxygen, carbon dioxide, the ozone layer the galaxy, and the universe itself. God holds the world(earth) in His hands. It just makes me pause when I allow myself to try to understand how much God loves us. All those things that surround us were made to help us live. Maybe I'm writing this in the wrong category, but I am in Awe of God greatness, His power and how He created everything. I get excited about it. I was told when I was young, be aware not to take God for granted. I am learning that, every year I get older. Thanks for reading. Just something to think about.
