Community Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Did he do it in six days?

Welcome to the forum.

He actually did it in around 15 billion years. Gods time isn't our time. He's everything, and everywhere, so time runs a lot slower.

Pattison. It's about a 10 Minute drive from Port Gibson, and that's an hour south of Vicksburg.

I'm from a small town called Chunky right between Newton and Meridian. Anyhow, hope to see around in the topics here, have a good one.

Got that by looking through your telescope? It must be an expensive one :)

I guess that's my problem, a cheap telescope, cause every time I look though my telescope it keeps showing me creatio, ex nihilo in 6,000 years, give or take. Maybe I just need to put another dime in it?
