John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

My Dear Brother's & Sister's in Christ. I have been in the hospital for five days from Feb.24 to the 27 with kidney acute failure. I already have stage 3 kidney disease, but for some strange unknown reason my kidneys went to stage 4. Stage 5 they are not working at all. This is a serious change in less that a month. After flushing my system for five days my kidneys showed enough improvement the doc's thought I was on ok to go home with a check up in one week.

On Monday March 6 my kidneys showed no improvement. The next day I had a Ultra sound of my kidneys. This was to see if I have a clot in one or both of my kidneys or some reason for the lack of improvement. We are waiting on information after Specialists look at the pictures.

On top of this I am not a candidate for back surgery due to my health and age. So I am suffering greatly.

Although I use the name of justme here, in your prayers you cab say Michael which is my first name. I appreciate your prayers. Pray I am in the center of Gods will. Pray The pain will lessen as I am on as much as my kidneys can deal with without causing more issues.

I am sorry I do not check my email as much as I should, byt it hurts to sit on a chair where my computer is. God bless you all so very much.

Thanks for you prayers. My wife once in a while looks over my posts, which I ave told her I like her input. She pointed out a mistake I made. My kidneys never stayed at stake 4, but reached that level. When leaving the Hospital I was in stage 3 again, but my kidney function was by no means where it had to be. Last week the kidneys showed no improvement. The doctor ad me take a Ultra Sound of my kidneys. We are waiting for the vascular specialists to determine if my kidneys are blocked or something. We should know on the 20th on our next visit.

I am in much pain wit my back. Wit not able for back surgery I am praying for wisdom and relief. Again thank you all for praying for me and my wife who is my care giver.

I am doing better my kidneys have gone back to stage three, and on Aug. 1 I am going to go on a week trial of the Boston Scientific method of pain relief. If after one week and it works then in late Sept. I will have surgical implant put in like a pacemaker is. I am a bit concerned about if is does not work. So all in all my pain is about 50% better and kidneys are back to my normal. thank you all for your praters.
