Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Hello, all. My name is Rob. I'm a thirty-year old Christian whose body is in Colorado, whose heart is in Florida, and whose mind is constantly everywhere. I am a writer and aspiring author, mental health advocate, and proponent of rights for the disabled. I value openness and honesty, and I hope to find that here. Currently I am without a church home, some of which I explain in my testimony, "Waddle." I look forward to meeting you all, and to the conversations we'll have in the future. I'm an open book, so if you have a question about anything (serious or silly), don't hesitate to ask.
