John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

What does "Get out of Her My People..." Rev. 18:4?

Recommended Posts

I left Christian churches for numerous reasons many years ago. However I DO believe what the scripture really says, and I studied it for years. Let's look at the lies being presented here:

The Messiah is worshipped as an image of a white man, His name was changed to a name of a pagan god, His birthday is celebrated on the same day as several pagan gods and its not even His birthday, he did not die on a cross, and crosses are idols dating back to pre-Christian era in pagan religions, breaking one of the 10 commandments.

The "Jews" are frauds established in a "fake" land called Isreal.  (the true ancient Israel is in the Kalahari desert).

See? Its all lies!

The truth is that all the false prophets are going to be judged and none are worthy to be called his followers.  "Get out of Her..."

Revelation 18:4

1. I worship Him, but I am not sure what His skin color was. In His glorified state John says that "His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire" (Revelation 1:14, NASB).

2. Acts 2:23

this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. (NASB)

His hair like wool. And His feet were like burnt copper.  He was black.  Plenty other referances to who they really were. The true Hebrew Isrealites were whitened by Hollywood.  African Americans are the true Isrealites from the true Isreal in the Kalahari desert.  All of Christianity is funded by the Roman Catholic Church and the Zionists "fake Jews". Christians are being mislead by Satan and His agents. Its called "The Great Deception."  Revelation 3:9  look it up

People need to know this.  They are not reading their Bibles, but instead are listening to false prophets.

Hollywood?

The early paintings depicting Jesus the Christ as "European" were long before Hollywood.  The churches are not responsible for  what an artist paints.

A Christian does not worship an image, or an ideal of some artist.

Yes you are correct in saying the paintings date back further.  The man used as a model for these paintings was the son of an earthly king.  His name was Cesare Borgia, duke of Valentinois. Look up the history.  its quite amazing all the sick crimes that he and his family committed. Oh, and he was gay.

What is the purpose of this post? So what an artist painted this? What does this have to do with the Christ?  Nothing.  I remember the 70s when many of the deceptions of Jesus looked like the ZIGZAG man. Because some one paints draws a picture does not make the depiction the reality.

Jesus' physical superficial sense of appearance was not revealed in Scripture. Perhaps there is great wisdom in being silent when Scripture is silent?

Isaiah foretells that He appears as a dry root others stumble upon and that there is nothing about His physical appearance that might cause the righteous to follow Him.

The Jews never were in " Isreal " . However they  always were a big part of the land of Israel .

Wow. If the OP's line of reasoning here isn't a picture of 1 Timothy 1:4 I don't know what would be.

Central message of Christ is the forgiveness of our sins through Christ's redemptive sacrifice on the cross; that our eternal security is achieved only through Christ by a believing faith in Christ; a humble acceptance of his gift through faith by grace and grace alone. It's a gift that none of us can earn; a gift that none are worthy of having. A saving faith is a gift. What does the central message of have to do with ancient paintings and genealogies?

Hint: It has nothing to do with genealogies, the color of anyone's skin or whether or not some half-stoned painter in 1971 painted an image of the son of God the way that appeases one group or enrages another.

Wake up!
