John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Just hours after being sworn into Congress on Thursday, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib promised to go after President Trump, promising a group of left-wing supporters that she would help Democrats “impeach the motherf*cker.”

Tlaib, who was one of two Muslim women sworn into Congress, made the remarks at a rally held by MoveOn near Capitol Hill, according to reporters at the event.

Tlaib’s remarks show just how eager some Democrats are to remove Trump from office. Earlier on Thursday, just after Democrats officially took over the House, California Rep. Brad Sherman reintroduced articles of impeachment against Trump.

Democratic leaders have shied away from impeachment talk leading up to Thursday’s handover. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not committed to impeachment, saying it would be divisive for the country. In an interview that aired Thursday morning, Pelosi said that she will withhold a decision until Special Counsel Robert Mueller issues his report in the Russia investigation.

“Well we have to wait and see what happens with the Mueller report. We shouldn’t be impeaching for a political reason, and we shouldn’t avoid impeachment for a political reason. We just have to see how it comes,” Pelosi said.

Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American ever to be elected to Congress, made news earlier in the day when she took her oath of office using Thomas Jefferson’s Quran.

That must be the same Quran Jefferson owned and read when he wrote:

It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every Mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy's ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.

Jefferson argued correctly that paying "tribute" to Muslim extremism would encourage further malfeasance: "infidel" enslavement, hostage-taking and ship hijacking had already plagued Europe for a thousand years.

Guess we should feel lucky that Jefferson hadn't a porn collection like Bin Laden.

Wonderful choice of language she has.... So befitting a member of Congress.

Sad but true .  O how i Pray the people of God will 2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Imagine if a Republican member of Congress said the same about Obama a few years ago. It would be all over the (fake) news about how awful and mean-spirited the Republican Party is.

If all people calling themselves Christian were followers of Yashuah, they would read all He had written in His Holy scriptures and would never again be fooled into believing the lies of Satan and the Demons again.

They would also lose the False Love of Matthew 7:1 and read at least the two chapters preceding chapter 7 and most importantly, the rest and the context of chapter 7.  And then, no longer pretending but, instead, following and praying the prayer called for in 2Chron. 7:14.  No man has ever seen such a force as we would be then, none would recognize the world they lived in for the Active Kingdom of YHWH could and would be seen on the Earth.
