Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

May your Christmas be very blessed too.

We are going to have a white Christmas this year. Of course it's not the most important thing in Christmas, but it is nice and beautiful and it is not so dark outside.

That would be about 18 C I think. Here we have about -11 C, in Fahrenheit around 12. Quite nice winter weather, not too cold and a little bit snow. And now the day will be a little bit longer every day so the worst part of the year is over. November is the most horrible month of the year for me.

The weatherman promises a warm day tomorrow . In the seventies . That's normal for us down here. I am in a part of the country that almost never experiences snow . It did snow two times in my lifetime though. In 1957 and 1964. About an inch fell on both of those days . Kids scrapping up a few flakes of snow trying to build a snowman. People were so disorientated and confused over the white stuff that they didn't know just how to deal with it . Btw,,,have a great Christmas.....
