Community Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Another Last Ditch Effort from the Left?

The political leaning of the ABA is leftist, and I fear the political leaning of the FBI is also left. I gather this from the fact that Director Comey and McCabe were leftist. Muleller, investigator of the Russian election investigation, is also a slight leftist. I fear a biased report from any new FBI investigation of Kavanaugh, especially now that the FBI understand that this new investigation will decide the direction of this country for decades (US Supreme Court). It was stated in the Kavanaugh hearings that the FBI only gathers facts, and never gives recommendations. Really? Then why did Comey recommend there was not enough evidence for Hillary Clinton to be prosecuted in her email FBI investigation?

That was suppose to be the Job of the US Attorney’s office, not the FBI.  But, of course, at the time, that office was also run by lefties under Obama.
