John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

There are some great handguns out there that don’t fall into the Glock, CZ or Beretta realm. These are guns that function great, loaded with features and shoot incredibly well. The problem is, they don’t get the attention compared to the more popular brands with fat marketing budgets. Given that, I decided to feature a handgun that I feel is as worthy as a Glock but offers more features at a lower price.

The Grand Power Q100 is a compact size pistol with amazing ergonomics, ambidextrous controls and uses a rotating barrel for soft and very accurate shooting. Much like the other Grand Power handguns, it has a very light four-pound trigger pull, forward serrations, three dot sights, striker fire indicator and offers a total for four inter-changeable back-straps. The Q100 comes with two 15-round magazines and is commonly sold around $420. The Grand Power Q100 has everything that a shooter wants at a desirable price.

I have owned and loved the Grand Power X-Calibur for about three years. The larger X-Calibur model is Grand Power’s premier 9mm handgun that many use for precise competition shooting. The Q100, Grand Power’s first striker fired handgun, was developed to mimic similar features and shooting accuracy of the X-Caliber by using the same frame size, shortening the barrel length (4.3 inches) and using a striker-fired action. In my opinion, Grand Power knocked it out of the park with this model.

At the range, the Grand Power Q100 is first class. As the video below demonstrates, the targets were no match for the Q100. Even the four-inch hostage target from 10 yards was tagged with ease. A combination of the rotating barrel and light trigger pull created an accurate and enjoyable shooting experience.

If you haven’t checked out a Grand Power handgun, I encourage you to give one a try. They have an entire line of handgun models that will out-perform your expectations. Be sure to watch the video below to better understand why I feel the Grand Power Q100 is the gun world’s most unappreciated handgun. Let us know if you agree and what handgun model you feel is unappreciated.
